Firearms Legal Protection provides uncapped legal defense coverage for its members who legally use a weapon in self-defense or defense of others. Firearms Legal Protection is a legal service plan that provides its members with peace of mind that they can protect themselves and their loved ones.

Most firearm owners are completely unaware that a self-defense incident could end in prosecution, potentially jeopardizing their family, finances, and liberty. If you are forced to defend yourself, you will likely be arrested, have your firearm confiscated, and be required to adhere to the judicial process. You need a protection plan and an experienced attorney to walk with you through a very serious situation.

Firearms Legal Protection differs in three ways: 1) We pay your attorney fees directly for both criminal and civil actions. Unlike most legal protection plans, we are not an attorney reimbursement system. 2) We take the time to research and provide you with a local attorney who is experienced in self-defense cases, Criminal Law, and/or has experience handling firearms-related incidences where self-defense occurs. 3) We provide the most comprehensive protection at the lowest price while never sacrificing member service.

Firearms Legal Protection provides education and awareness on changes to gun legislation, industry publications, seminars, and home safety tips. This information is distributed through blog articles, monthly email newsletters, and webinars.

Since early 2023, we have received complaints from our members that banks and credit cards companies have been declining their Firearms Legal Protection recurring billing, citing reasons relating to a firearm transaction. Despite our own and our customers’ efforts to clear the issue with various financial institutions, some banks still refuse to process payment for our services.

Firearms Legal Protection took the proactive step of re-naming our billing designation to “FLP, LLC” in order to ensure that our members continue to enjoy the uninterrupted benefit our services.

Most standard homeowners insurance policies do not cover Use of Firearm Incidents. Remember, the most important part of this protection is the payment of legal expenses (attorney’s fees) not home damage.

Anyone who wishes to lawfully protect themselves or their families. Their open promotion of our Constitution, the right to bear arms, and the freedoms associated with these rights are central to Firearms Legal Protection, LLC (“FLP”). Protection of these requires a company that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and embraces diversity. For these reasons, FLP embraces these fundamental concepts in admitting members. FLP prohibits discrimination and conduct that could or would constitute a denial of membership because of an individual’s race or color, religion or creed, alienage or citizenship status, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, and pregnancy-related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, disability, marital or domestic partnership status, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. FLP also prohibits other harassment – including bullying – rising to the level of persistent, malicious, and severe mistreatment by conduct or threats, intimidation, or abuse that has the effect of substantially interfering with a member or event attendee’s participation in FLP activities.
