Firearms Legal Protection, a provider of pre-paid legal defense memberships for self-defense, will now be available to residents of Delaware, starting December 15th 2021.
Firearms Legal Protection (FLP) provides more benefits than other insurance-based providers. This means the service is regulated differently in different states. Previously, Firearms Legal Protection was available in twenty-nine different states. With the latest expansion, Firearms Legal Protection will now also be available in Delaware.
“This is great news for gun owners in Delaware,” said Pliny Gale, Director of Marketing for Firearms Legal Protection. “Delawareans can now take advantage of the benefits and legal protection FLP provides to the majority of the nation.” The membership plans and pricing in these states will be the same as all other states where Firearms Legal Protection is offered (excluding Florida and North Carolina, which are regulated differently.) Membership levels are:
- Individual Basic – Protection in your state of residence, including uncapped attorney fees, Red Flag Law Protection, and other benefits.
- Individual Premium – All the benefits of the Basic plan plus, bail bond protection, expert witness and investigator fees, lost wages reimbursement, counseling support, and other benefits. For members who travel, these benefits extend to all 50 states.
- Family Premium – All the benefits of the premium membership for the member, listed spouse, and minor children (17 and under, some limitations may apply)
