Incident Scene Clean-Up
Many people often forget about the mess that is left after the trigger is pulled. For premium members, FLP will pay for a professional (biohazard) cleaning service if necessary.
Why do I need Incident Scene Cleanup?
After a self-defense incident in your home or on your property, the costs for cleaning up can be significant. And, you’ll need a professional with experience at cleaning, handling, disposing of biohazards and medical waste.
Once the police or coroner’s office release the scene to the property owner or responsible parties, cleanup begins.
Due to the nature of a cleanup (biohazards, medical waste, etc.), a number of state and federal regulatory bodies can be involved, including OSHA, the DOT, even the EPA.
The cost of this falls upon the home or property owner. And, those costs can be in the thousands.
What does Incident Scene Cleanup cover?
The FLP Incident Scene Cleanup benefit covers the cleanup of biological hazards, and will pay reasonable and necessary costs up to $5,000.
